So as I have mentioned a few (50 maybe) times or so, I have this weird issue where my phone gives the wrong location when I am at home. I am pretty sure this is never going to get fixed, so I have been doing some playing around. It seems that Google services will get your location using low power mode (WiFi) for most things except for actual GPS tracking, such as using Maps. If I set my location services to only use GPS it seems like my location works correctly. It is sort of a pain to always have to remember to change my location mode every time I get home and then again back to high accuracy (what a joke that name is) when I want to use GPS tracking.
I have never used Tasker, but it seems like this is something I could automate. Before I drop the cash on it though I was hoping those with experience using the program could tell me if I am on the right track.
Basically, I would like to setup a task that changes my location services mode depending on whether or not I am connected to my home WiFi.
