Played in the beta and currently playing Live and am sorta enjoying it. It is the usual grind fest that nearly every MMO is based on, but it doesn't feel like I'm grinding to gain levels [so far]. There are enough quests in the first zone which have kept me busy enough not to have to "repeat-kill" mobs to level cap for that zone [which seems to be around level 10] - so I'm hoping the rest of the zones too will have enough quests as well.
I really enjoy the random server generated mass attacks on various bases within the zones - the combat is frenetic and a lot of fun.
And though it is a novelty, being able to "re-paint" your armor is a big plus so you're not walking around in pink pants, purple shirt, and a green hat.
If you have an extra $50.00 laying around it's worth it to check out for a month. Or be patient and see if they'll offer a free trial period.
With that said - will I play beyond the "Free" month? Not really sure at this point. The general idea of the game is really cool, but there is still a lot that needs to be worked on or added -
- There isn't much documentation out for the game right now [or maybe there is more if you buy the boxed version] - so it's trial and learn to see what works and what doesn't [I still don't know when I can use non-standard ammo

and I just recently learned that storage locker is shared by all of my alts - d'oh!]
- Can't add friends unless they are logged on
- GUI is static - so you have to get use to a different GUI than other MMO's.
- Crafting - difficult to obtain certain items needed to craft - the game needs an auction house.
- I'm not a fan of the combat targeting system - you can't TAB to an enemy, you'll have to put the enemy in your cross hairs and then TAB to auto-target [however the enemy seems to have no problem auto-tab-targeting you]
