Is soy milk really that much better for you?

Im honestly looking for an answer here. I know it contains protein, and vitamins, and other stuff, but is it worth the almost double cost?

Highly doubtful. I've read at least one small thing lately about it possible giving bitch tits to guys! It was from only one source but really no I wouldn't be paying twice for soy milk. I like it straight from the cow tit.

oh btw ... soy can give men chesticles ... but you have to consume like 4000 times the normal daily amount and burn no calories during the day in order to get them.

Reason I ask is because Im trying to loose weight, and I cant stand reduced fat milk. Its got to be whole or nothing. But I like the flavor of the Silk vanilla soy milk. It goes well with my corn flakes in the morning.

Soymilk can be fattier than regular low-fat milk. Make sure you read the nutritional information.

I don't care how healthy or not it is, I drink it cuz it tastes good. If you can, try to get fresh Soy Milk instead of mass manufactured stuff like Silk or Vitasoy. It tastes a lot better IMO.

I have to say, I saw another thread on soy milk and everyone saying how vanilla soy milk "tastes so good". I bought some the other day, and it is the SuQ! I can stand it on cereal, even though that is not very good, but it has a terrible taste to it. Back to skim milk for me.

Our digestive systems aren't really made to be drinking dairy past the age of 3 anyway.

Yes Soy is dangerous as far as the phytoestrogens that are in it, it makes girls a bit more girly and boys... a bit more girly.

It's ironic that guys with high cholesterol turn to soy as an answer, but an increase in estrogens causes a decrease in testosterone, and testosterone is vital in lowering cholesterol in men.

No you don't understand. Fat people get chucky chests, but, the "boobs" people are refering to is the actual mamallian gland type breast. As in producing your own milk.

If you believe what you read on the internet, there are several sites that say soy milk is actually fairly bad for you. Search on google for "evils of soy". I used to drink it a lot, but being the gullible fool I am, I switched back to regular milk after doing some research on it. Of course, the reason I switched to soy milk in the first place was all the stuff I read on the internet that regular milk is bad for you. So who knows. If they are both bad, regular milk is cheaper, so I'm sticking with that.
