to me a cd changer makes less sense because how easy it is to store them as digital files.

I think it'd be nice to be able to load up all of my DVDs and never have to take them out and put them back in the cases.

what if you have 200 dvds...just to store them in an organzied way and to look thru them all can be difficult.

You haven't quite mastered the concept of logical analogies, have you?

I think your brain could use a little exercise. There are reasons other than laziness that a person would want a large capacity DVD changer. DVDs scratch easily.

And even if it is laziness, what difference does that make to you? Mind your own damn business. If you don't have anything useful to add, stay out of the thread.

I have a 300 disk DVD changer from Sony.

It makes choosing a movie much easier, because I use DVD Profiler to create a list. Now I can look at a list instead of racks and racks of DVDs to choose what I want to watch.

Nothing absurd about that if you like buying and collecting movies.

I have the sony 400 disc dvd changer. If you have a lot of dvds then it can be real convenient having them all in one central location. No more searching through your dvd rack or flipping through pages and pages of the dvd binder cases trying to find a particular movie. I have all of my dvds sorted by genre on a printed excel spreadsheet. To find a movie just look on the list, enter the corresponding slot number and press play. 15 seconds later I'm watching a movie.

So as opposted to looking at a nice rack, you get to look like an excel list (that took you time to make) and enter in number. Seems easier to have a big rack of dvds.
