<< There is nothing wrong with your Geforce 4 Ti 4600

you are just another one of those that have hopped on the "3D Mark" bandwagon......

It seems like that the only thing people care about these days are how high of a 3D Mark score they can get..

so, basically.. who gives a $%#^%..

you spend that much on a video card.. well.. then use it.. Play some games .. use it for what it is meant to be used for .. Dont justify a purchase based on some benchmark..

Enjoy your TI 4600

Well said. VERY well said :)

<< Why would you use FSAA when everything runs perfectly smooth at 1600x1200 everything maxed? Just curious. >>

Because 1024 768 4x FSAA looks much better than 1600 1200 32bit. Speaking of which, GeForce 4 is powerful enough to run 1600 1200 2xAA acceptably in most titles.

Also, "perfectly smooth" is just your opinion. It's definately not "perfectly smooth" in new
games.

My monitor does not support 1600x1200 resolution.

By the way, I am NOT saying the Radeon 8500 is a bad card (no way!); however the GeForce4 4600 IS a superior video card (fps).

Should I be playing my games at 1280x1024 (75 Hz) without 4x AA and 8x anisotropic or @ 1024x768 (100 Hz) with 4x AA and 8x anisotropic on? I can go to 1600x1200 but my refresh rate only goes to 60 Hz at that res. I feel that I need at least a 100 Hz refresh rate so I've been playing all my games at 1024x768 with all the goodies on.
