Is something wrong with me because I do not like baseball?

Baseball is a great game to watch in person with friends. It's great because it's so accessible to everyone whether they understand the game or not and, whether they're a fan or not. Attending any event with a bunch of people adds more excitement than watching at home.

For those folks who complain about traffic, you're not doing it right. That's why God created bar shuttles! I swear, these days you have to teach people how to enjoy themselves. It's just sad.

I hate baseball. My father in law (ex) watches it non stop. I quit going over there because of that.

Baseball is boring to watch.

Except when I watch my dad play, 'cause then I can laugh at the old man for hurting himself 😛

No, I can understand people that think it's boring. However, they're doing something that nobody else on earth can do.

Also, I'm going to Fenway for the Yanks game on Friday. I'll be wearing my Yanks cap. I've heard like 50 times that somebody is going to stab me. I can't wait until nobody even gives me a dirty look all day long. Because seriously, nobody cares.

like most sports, people enjoy it because it's an excuse to get drunk. everyone I know who watches or goes to sports events drinks while doing so.

all i know is Comerica Park was sweet on Saturday afternoon when i had 3-4 beers in me, the sun was shining, the chicks were everywhere and CUTE as they always are at Detroit sporting events, and Johnny Damon hit a walk-off dinger to win it in the 9th...

tough to beat, guys... just sayin

then going to the Town Pump after......... EPIC. Tigers games rule... and I also love Detroit. forever.

except for the Wings. lol

To be honest, if shit keeps going down like it does in Philly lately, baseball might actually become interesting. No thanks to the actual sport though. 🙂

I enjoy an occasional live baseball game. But by and large, I find the game boring to watch. Going to the game is more about being with friends and enjoying a nice afternoon/evening out.

PLAYING the game, on the other hand, is an entirely different story. There are few things I wouldn't give up to go back 15 years and stop myself from pitching in the game that ultimately ended my dream of playing professional baseball (FWIW, I did have a legit shot at playing at least minor league ball, if not going pro).

This is one reason why I don't like going to sporting events. Loud, drunk idiots are all over the place.
