Is Simple Plan music appropiate for a 11 year old?

Thats funny, the other week I was playing Motley Crue and he liked it. A couple days later I had it on when my wife was in the car with us. He was like turn it up I like Motley Crue. My wife couldn't beleive her ears. lol
