Is there any other games coming out this month that can take advantage of the new Nvidia RTX Graphic Cards?

Shadow of the Tomb Raider won't support it on day 1, it'll need "a post-launch update".

In other words, you're throwing away money if you buy at launch... it's unavoidable if you're really pulling the trigger. Consider it a donation to the company who loves taking your money.

The cards are pretty clearly going to be a lot faster than the 10 series in existing game play, so I'm not sure how that's "throwing away money"?

Certainly one can argue that the price is too high and the price/performance ratio is not good enough, but you almost always get that as an early adopter.
That's the early adopter penalty that people willingly pay every time to be able to say they already own whatever new thing comes out.

I think your decision to buy the 20 series (or not) should be made while pretending the 20 series cards don't even do Ray Tracing.

Aye, that's a good bet for the vast majority of consumers.

A LOT faster? Definitly not clear atm.

But let's keep this about the games that will use the new hardware.

You should edit your post to only talk about the 2080 Ti. There's signs already (based on Nvidia's own performance projections) that the 2080 will simply be comparable to the 1080 Ti in existing titles and perhaps even slower once both are max OC. So one should be extremely prudent if they are buying a 2080 since it costs more and has less VRAM than a 1080 Ti. Unless those TPU and RTX cores are leveraged it simply is not a tenable purchase.

I think that the 2080 will best the 1080ti when everything is updated to take advantage of Turing's capabilities.
Otherwise NV makes no sense at all with the marketing and pricing.
