Just wondering if the speed problem has been fixed by microsuck yet, I could use the extra performance and windows 2000 is not a switch I want to make at this point.

As far as I know SP1 fixed any remaining SCSI issues. I recently upgraded some SCSI computers to Win XP and I cannot tell and speed difference.

WinXP is bloat ware to begin with, but SCSI U160 with at least 10k rpm SCSI drives are way faster than any IDE setup - minus IDE RAID 0.

I believe he is reffering to the bug that Windows XP had with SCSI drives.

As far as I know, everything works as it should now. Appearantly there was an error in win2ks results that overinflated them even though they performed well in XP.
