It was years ago, but there was an interview in some magazine with him, and basically he said through inferences that he's non-sexual. Whenever the interviewer would get anywhere near the issue of sex, sexuality, intimacy, he would freak out, act very childlike and just about start to cry.

My best guess (putting on my psychoanalyst hat): he's either had a history of sexual abuse by a man/men and has decided to make himself asexual to avoid dealing with his trauma or he's actually gay and homophobic and can't admit it to himself. There is no way on earth that he will ever be in a heterosexual relationship, for whatever reason.

Now Christopher Lowell , on the other hand, is flaming. My girlfriend loves to watch him. That guy actually cross dresses inbetween crafts. Very weird to see a woman with a beard...

His very early commercials (mid 70's probably) weren't anything like he acts now (since the weight stuff). It's an act. Why else do you think he would go on Letterman KNOWING how he would be treated? He rakes in huge sums of money for playing the part.

There was a program on E a few months ago, & they suggested pretty much everyone in Hollywood that was rumored to be gay was gay & that the reason they didn't come out of the closet was because of the almighty dollar & very realistic perception that any public disclosure would hurt their earnings/marketablitiy, Richard Gere, Tom Cruise, etc...
