LCD monitors sometimes bug me out. It's like looking at a fluorescent light.
that's not surprising considering the backlight is fluorescent
That can be a problem for me. I remember being in school, and those fluorescent lights drove me insane. It's like sitting under a strobe light.
It's strange to say this but they put me in a daze. Even at work nowadays, I experience the same thing. If I sit under those lights for a few hours I just zone out. I'm ok under incandescent lights and sunlight near a window is the best.
On my CRT monitor, anything under 85 hz drives me up the wall, and 60 hz will make me feel ill after a few hours. Also, the LED taillights on some of the newer cars look really bad to me.
