Is reformatting required when moving from NVIDIA to ATI?

I may switch over to ATI (and I may not). Am I going to have to do a clean install or will Driver Cleaner Pro be good enough?

Thanks,

Normally the presence of other drivers doesn't even cause much trouble, so uninstalling and letting driver cleaner run should be enough...

Only have switched once from an nVidia card to Radeon. And I didnt even unistall the original nVidia drivers. Just pulled the old card out and put the new one in. Installed the Radeon drivers, no probs. What I am missing something?

To prevent driver problems, it's uaually a good idea to use Driver Cleaner and remove all older video card drivers then installing the new ones. I do this even when updating drivers and using the same card.

Add/remove programs before you swap the cards and it should be fine.
