i want to tell you all what you don't want to know is that we sometime refuse to accept what is the truth and rather believe anything even if it a lies, that you can save lots of money. it worked for lottery, and gambling, so why woldnt it with rebates? if something sounds too good to be true then it maybe. Today is the day when rebates are going to start eating people up alive. what do I mean? that is the question. It makes logical sense. does it not?

😕

Can you send me some of that stuff you are smoking, seems to be pretty strong stuff.

Nice response, I couldn't agree more. What do I mean? That is the question. God, that entire post needs to be sigged

No, it doesn't. I *do* accept what is the truth because I've seen it with my own eyes: I've gotten *all* the rebates I've sent in... and I've sent in at *least* 40. I've sometimes had to resend stuff, which is a pain, but I've *always* gotten the rebates.

Perhaps it is you who refuses to accept what is the truth. Or, at the very least, refuses to read a grammar book.

Edit: Would you like some tips on how to get all your rebates?
1) Make copies of everything. Keep it all in a Rebates folder.
2) Write a letter (and put a copy in your Rebates folder), dated, stating:

//Companyname// Rebate Center:

Enclosed is my submission for a $//dollar// rebate with purchase of a //productname//.

My submission is COMPLETE with the following //number// items, as requested:

- Completed Rebate Form, with information clearly and completely printed (including serial number of drive), and signed at the bottom. (or whatever information they specifically request)
- Original UPC barcode from the //productname// package, which matches the UPC barcode //upcnumber//.
- Copy of sales receipt from //storename// for the //productname//, with model name (//modelname//) and date (//date//) clearly circled. (or whatever directions they specifically request)
- (any other items they request)

The product was purchased on //date//. This fulfills the purchase date requirement, as it was purchased between //date// and //date//.

The rebate submission was postmarked on //date// and sent by //shippingmethod//. This should fulfill the requirement to have it in your possession by //date//.

I have photocopies of all of the above items in case you happen to lose one of them. However, I have taken great care to ensure that all three items are present within the envelope, and I will make every effort to collect this rebate. (This step is VERY important - letting them know that if they "conveniently" lose an item, you'll be all over them.)

Many thanks in advance for your prompt fulfillment of this rebate offer! I appreciate it!

Sincerely,
//name//

3. Monitor the progress of your rebates once a month to ensure that it has been received and/or accepted and/or rebate check has been sent.
4. If you have not received the rebate within the number of weeks printed on the form, call them. Resend anything they ask you to resend - KEEP A COPY OF EVERYTHING.
5. Keep following up until you get your rebate. Most will come through on the first try without even requiring a follow-up call. A few will take 2 tries. I've only experienced one that has taken 3 tries to finally cough up the money.

It's as simple as that. Refuse to believe the "truth", if you will... but rebates can and do work if you adhere to the directions explicitly and follow through afterwards.

Do you like *stars*? I like *stars*. They make *me* smile and feel *warm* and *fuzzy*. It makes logical sense. does it not?

Next time you're going to flame someone, try to learn some English.

troll, not even worth arguing with. I have clothes to wash, and comb my hair when it's a mess.

Then get to it greaseball.

Who were your English teachers? I really want to strangle them for passing you.

That's funny, I pasted the text from my sig into Word, and it said that it was 4th Grade level writing.
