Is ram important to Dpad?

I shut down the clients once every week or two and delete the results.dat file.

Don't confuse it with results.txt though. That is the completed work that has not been sent in yet!

I've deleted results.dat without stopping the client. Many many times. Never had a problem. It just recreates it when it finishes the current simulation.
