Discrimination will never die. It's human nature. Tolerance and understanding ease the pain. Also, allowing yourself to experience a relationship with someone who is unlike you can help reduce imposing discrimination.

I'm not racially biased.
I am very "culturally" biased, I suppose. I try not to stereotype, but it's tough.
I am very inclined to dislike someone because of negative things they do or say, but not at all inclined to dislike someone for how they look.
I can take that a step farther and say that I'm very tolerant of most anything people choose for themselves. I could care less about someone's religion (or lack of), their sexual orientation, their political affiliation, or anything else of that nature.
I can't stand the "gangsta rap" thing and I can't stand people who screw other people over. Those are my two pet peeves.
Aside from that I pretty much don't have any broad-based biases.

I had a friend who lived in the SF/Bay area for a long time. He was able to get tech jobs with ease here. Qualified for many positions. Always got interviews for positions he applied for. Then he tried to move to Bakersfield because of cheap living costs. Guess what, he sent many resumes to jobs that he qualified for, overqualified for and very over qualified for, but each time, just got a letter back saying he's not qualified for their position. I'm guessing its the name. They can tell by your name on a resume, there's no need for them to look at your skin color.
