This gateway theory needs to be abolished.
You choose to have a beer.
You choose to drink a six pack.
You choose to polish a fifth on Sunday morning before noon.
You choose to take a toke.
You choose to smoke a pipe.
You choose to snort some coke.
You choose to smoke crack.
And so on.

The "gateway drug" theory is a desperation move by the anti-pot crusaders who despite billions in research can't come up with a shred of evidence to show that pot is dangerous other than the fact that it's smoke.
Total pot deaths in US history - 0
Total deaths attributed to smoking in the US - 400,000 yearly
Deaths attributed to drunk driving in the US - 15,000 yearly
Apparently pot is only a danger if it's a gateway to tobacco and alcohol.

If anything pot is a gateway drug because kids are brought up on the propaganda that pot is an evil, life destroying substance but when they see otherwise they'll be more likely to try other drugs that the government has deemed bad because they figure the government is BSing about them too.

Are you an idiot?
Quite clearly you are. The anti-pot zealots have had to stoop to "it impairs your judgement" as the reason not to use it in their TV ads. Fact: There is not a single death in US history directly attributable to pot use. Not one.
C'mon, show me the medical research that establishes the dangers of pot beyond the mild carcinogenic effect of any smoke inhalation.

I would argue this, but there is no point. You pot heads don't listen to logic or reason anyway.
The problem with pot "studies" is that most of them are funded by people who have something to loose by the studying finding one thing or another.Originally posted by: XZeroII
