There's no proven physical addiction. It's a "mental" addiction, if anything. Cigarettes are a physical addition where your body "needs" them, weed is just a recreational type thing, you don't "need" it - meaning you are not going to have withdrawl symptoms if you don't smoke a joint

no, its not addictive...i've smoked on and off for 6 years...and i've gone for a year without..with no withdrawals...doesn't bother me to stop smoking it...now black and milds on the other hand......

Same here. Most potheads I've known can't stop smoking. Some have quit cigarettes though. I've always thought it wasn't possible but some people really do seem addicted.
