Would it be possible to mix this RAM: Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820134039) with what I currently have: Kingston KRX3200AK2/1G 1GB HyperX DDR400(PC3200) ECC DIMM, Kit of 2 - 512MB, 184-Pin, CL2.5 (2.5-3-3-8-1). Retail Box. (http://www.directron.com/krx3200ak21g.html) ? Reason is I want to upgrade and have 3 gigs of RAM otherwise I wont have any use for the current RAM i have and I don't want to buy the same RAM. You guys are great, thanks a million in advance.

Oh yeah and I forgot to say, I already have ECC - Disabled. The thing that concerns me most is Unbuffered/Registered compatibility

you should be fine. though the timings will be a bit screwed up if it isnt the same as the 1GB you already have. and your overclock (if you have done any) might go down/up.

The timings on the ram I want to get are: Timing 2-3-2-6 and the RAM i currently have are Timing Reference: 2.5-3-3-8-1 at +2.6V.

In your guys opinion would it be faster running 3GB of RAM or just the 2GB of ram.

Can someone give me a better 2GB to go with what I currently have right here ?

"Is possible to mix this RAM?
ECC Registered HyperX and Non-ECC Unbuffered HyperX?"

In a bag maybe, but not in a PC.

Well i'm looking to buy 2 more gigs of ram that will mix with my 2 512 sticks of ecc registered hyperX can someone steer me in the right direction?

What's your mobo's requirements. I used registered ECC RAM on a server board and non ECC unbuffered on the rest of my rigs, never together.

Completely incompatible. Buffered (registered) RAM won't fit in an unbuffered slot and vice versa.

Specs look good.
A price one can live with. Kingston is midrange RAM.
Question is what you're using them for.
I prefer OCZ for performance IMO, but it does get expensive.

Yes, you can mix ram. But for best performance it is not recomeneded.
