is PNY a good video card maker?

hey, i was just wondering how good PNY stands against all the other video card manufacturers. thanx

Leadtek>BFG>PNY in my opinion. So, I feel that PNY is a pretty good manufacturer of video cards. Just don't go for a XFX or Chaintech.

Here's my input on rating the cards

evga > bfg > leadtek > pny = chaintech > xfx

I currently own a Nvidia 6600 256 mb agp, it served me well ( kept at it's retail box) played games @ 1024x768 res w/ highest settings. I can say is it was awesome :beer:

Had one fail on me, but they have many lifetime guarantees on their stuff.

PNY makes the workstation versions of the NVidia cards. Count on them to be stable since their customers are businesses. Don't count on them to have an o/c version of a card like XFX and others.

PNY is alright. I would not say they're the best in terms of computer gaming but they'll do you fine if you love PS, AUTOCAD, etc. I have a PNY 5200 and its still up and running like it was new. But, like any video card, its longevity depends on you, the consumer and how well you take care of things.

Double lifetime warranty, actually... on all 6xxx and 7xxx series cards. You get lifetime against defects in materials and workmanship, and if you sell the card, the person who buys it from you also gets a lifetime warranty.
