No, but there are different pipes out there, some with filter chambers you "could" put a filter in. Unfiltered is unquestionably worse, though being much harsher, a person might smoke less, but in general the immediate rush of higher concentration nicotine from a pipe would tend to reinforce the nicotine habit more, yet on the other hand a pipe is less convenient so that alone might result in smoking reduction.
It's a bit like asking if it's healthier to step out in traffic in front of a minivan instead of an SUV. If you can't break a nicotine habit, vaping is the way to go, but not the generic crap from ***** which has who knows what in it.
+1 on the cigars. Also, when you smoke them be like Bill Clinton and don't inhale.
Also, I know it looks smarter(Ala Sherlock Holmes)
But is it more hip? Wondering if I would look cooler

You never inhale cigar smoke in the first place, regardless of Clinton or whom ever. You just puff on them.
Fuck that shit...man the fuck up and INHALE!
If you don't inhale the cigar smoke, you're just a poser, pretending to smoke.

While I appreciate a good cigar I find its an expensive stupid hobby. That said, pipe tobacco probably has a higher oral cancer rate than cigars.
I do love a good cigar but I only smoke a handful per year and I don't buy or keep boxes of them around. I just buy them for the occasion and enjoy them individually. The cost is minimal.
