Is Partition Magic more "stable" than it was.. ~3 years ago?

There was a 60% "success" rate when moving/joining partitions etc. but that was a few years ago. How is the success rate as of recent? I've got two adjacent partitions that I would like to join.

Category changed to Software.

I have used PQ4, PQ7 and PQ8....used 4 for ages....had no problems with stability....in my personal experience I see no indication that it's got better....probably has though, certainly hasn't got any worse and the interface is much nicer.

There was a fiasco where I tried to convert from FAT32 to NTFS with version 7....goodbye data....hello RAW partition.

Only ever had one problem, and that was just a failure to copy a partition, no data or anything lost.
