I had to uninstall Office so I"m using OE5 right now, I've noticed that its faster at sending/recieving mail than Outlook 2k is. ANyone feeling this also?

I want to keep Outlook 2000 because... well, its new ;)

I think OE is faster for me.....well that's how it is in my computer...Outlook takes more time for checking mail for reasons I dont know.....though it is slower, i still use outlook 2k coz. it is the best PIM out there....

yes in my case OE was faster, but since we moved to an exchange server for our email, O2k is what we use, although its a rather "large" program, it has many good aspects and keeps me and our department on task.

I liked OE5 until my mail files got somewhat large. Then it took literally over 2 minutes just to start the program up.

It's faster when it's small, but Outlook seems to scale better.

However, I use Eudora just because I like it more than both the other 2.
