Is one's post count...

I almost agreed with most that it means nothing. However, I'll retract, for it does mean something.

If someone has a lifer status, it certainly establishes that the person spends, or at least at some point spent, too much time at the forum.

However, having a normal to little post count means nothing. There are people who lurk often, enough to familiarise themselves with members and events, but don't post at all or frequently, for whatever reasons.

Unfortunately,,,,,yes.

That said. All I care about is that I have had a chance to help 1 person make heads or tails of the situation he/she is in. Sooner or later we seem to forget that we had to start somewhere. If we were all alike this wourld would get boring real fast. We also need to get out into this world and see what is actually happening. News that we hear and see may not be bias but it is told from someones point of view. We need to get our own point of view so we can make an honest decision. A story told down through a line of 20 people never ends the same as it starts. Why? Because it sounds better, the way you tell it. We all have opinions, voice them. We all have that right. Search yourself. Have you never been wrong. I have.

Happy Holidays

Mike

Some try to make post count out to be more than it is. Accusations of lacking a life are generally first on the list. Based on that logic I'd have one of the worst lives on atot, though I firmly believe that I have one of the best. In regards to the waist, again that correlation doesn't exist with me.

Post count for me is directly proportional to the amount of time I like to waste instead of doing things like watching tv, or more frequently: Working!!

Just wondering after seeing some AT meet images last time...scary

Edit : waste = waist 🙂

ATOT Meet = Special Ed meet

I should ask, Txxxx: What AT meeting images are you referring to? Why do you murmur or exclaim, "Scary"?

If you were referring to TommyVercetti's supposed AT Meeting Pics, you must have missed where he indicated it wasn't an AT meeting.

Yep. 🙂

Social status? There is such a thing on the internet?
Does anyone else find that a little odd to say the least 🙂

The internet is a social medium with a 7 year old's schoolyard mentality.

totally true. the people with big counts are pretty modest and claim it's nothing but a number, but that's pretty much a load of crap. the lifers get far more respect around here than anyone else. i'd say in most cases they deserve the respect, too.

If we have more than 10 posts a day, that means we aren't spending the extra online time viewing and downloading prOn 😛

LOL! This is the most confusing post today! I thought the original poster had "waist" changed to "waste", so I responded accordingly. However, now it appears he changed "waste" to "waist".

If that's the case, then absolutely not! Post count is not proportional to waist size. I know for one that you can see me hit lifer, and I would still read waist size 24, with 25 after eating. Maybe my hips would get bigger, but that's not what you asked about! 😉

Original poster, if that is indeed your question, you could find an answer to your enquiry in this old thread: Your Waist Size.
