You see a lot of posts on here regarding love.
You see a lot of posts on people being angry about being ripped off.
You see posts regarding all sorts of emotions.

There was recently a post regarding the death of someone on here that a lot of people cared about.
As it turned out, it was made up, just like the person himself was made up.

In the original post, there were many people expressing their grief and sorrow over the loss of this "person".

There have been instances in the past where basically the same thing has happened.

When it was found that the whole thing was made up, the Moderator's in their infinite wisdom locked the post.

Later another post was made to bring the charade to light, so that those grieving could stop.
This thread was soon locked as well because it was decided that to vent the emotions that the thread had brought out was inappropriate.

I guess what I'd like opinions on is this.

Are certain emotions more acceptable to show than others?

Is love more acceptable than lust?
Is anger more acceptable hate?
Is grieving over a lost pet less viable than grieving over a family member?
Does grief become moot when the person you are grieving over turns out to not be real, even though all along you in your heart thought they were?

Does any of this make any sense to anyone but me?

I imagine this thread will get locked as well.

You imagine correctly. Did I not make this clear to you in PM? Drop it.

But I am interested in how everyone feels about this!
