Hello

I have HP xw 6400 with 2 xeon 5160 with stock air cooling and latest bios.
I found site like this one http://nanoteh.com/en/98127-intel-xeon-5160.html
,where there is spec of this cp beeing OC. I have been searching any confirmed information's about how to oc this cpu but i cant find any

My question: is there a confirmed method to oc my cpus, and if yes could anyone provide me a guide.

Thx for your time on my issue.

I think you can technically overclock a Core 2-based Xeon, but it requires a "Skulltrail" motherboard or one of the other very rare breeds of LGA771 motherboard that allows bus speed adjustment. You're probably not going to find that sort of motherboard in an HP workstation.
