"You can't not have health insurance," the president continued, "then go to the emergency room, and each of us, who've done the responsible thing and have health insurance, suddenly we now have to pay the premiums for you. That's not fair."

Amazing. That's a reason why most people are against criminal immigration. Watching this guy these past years is a very creepy experience. Not so much because he lies constantly and contradicts himself at every turn but because people have adapted to this as if is normal when its functional lunacy of historic proportions. At a time of great danger to US the people voted for an affirmative action Nero in a suit hiding behind an ivy pedigree. Obama thinks people are stupid (well at least his base because he knows they are only ones who take him seriously) and he is correct in large part.

I think it was Will Durant who said great civilizations don't die they commit suicide. That's Obama right there. He's political cyanide.

How you got that rant from what Obama said is a mystery to me...

Read it again.

It is a revealing take on what many see as the hypocrisy of Obama.

Obama is showing a complete lack of consistency in his moral compass if he is lambasting those without health insurance for sticking it the rest of us in a manner that is "not fair", while arguing the opposite if we replace "heath insurance" with illegal immigration. It's self serving and twisted to play opposite sides of this argument depending on the topic at hand. If he uses the "not fair to the rest of us argument" with health insurance, then he can't ignore and disregard the same argument with illegal immigration's effect on the rest of us. Obama champions the other side of the argument he has made for health insurance by willfully arguing against the deportation of illegals whom cost the taxpayer billions.

Yes Obama is going after illegal immigrants who commit further crimes while they are here,... again a sign of inconsistency, does Obama now write the laws for what is a crime and what is not?

All people want with Obama is some consistency somewhere. Talk about leading,... well lead instead of inciting class warfare through propaganda laden speeches filled with pretentious, paltry meanderings about setting aside partisan behavior. Just friggen lead like everyone hoped you would with at least a measure of integrity and decency. There is no responsibility with the president and his words, and most people are now aware of it.

With Obama I hope voters remember "fool me once shame on you: fool me twice shame on me."

LOL. That's delusional. There is *nothing* Obama can do for the right. Their opposition to him isn't based on policy, it's based on their desire for power, period.

Their attacks on policy are just a technique to attack him to try to hurt him.

That comment about him inciting class warfare is like saying the Jews started the Holocaust - it's absurd. It's the opposite. The wealthy starter the war and Obama is doing two things about it: One is Jack, the other rhymes with 'hit'. If only Obama WOULD do some leadership and stand up for the American people - which you absurdly attack.

With Obama I hope voters remember "fool me once shame on you: fool me twice shame on me."

The problem isn't remembering that for Obama. It's remembering it for Republicans.

I don't care much for how Obama has turned out to be more of a moderate Repub than a moderate Dem, but gee willikers gosh darn it, it's like you haven't seen or heard of how Obama has turned into a moderate corporatist repub in the recent past. In fact, you sound like you've been away somewhere incommunicado since he took office.

Or maybe he's just not turned right hard and fast enough into the Tea Party parking stall wayyyyyy off in the corner of the Repub parking lot?

Maybe I need mental health care? Where can I get some? Oh, yes, I don't want to pay for it myself.

If you are serious, PM me. That said, it doesn't seem as if you are.

Talking about mental health care/illness as a way to score cheap points is...well, cheap.

I'm unsure why you chose to quote me before writing that. Nothing you have said has anything to do with what I wrote, accept for being in implicit agreement with it while taking some shots at something you conjured up.

It reads as an agreement that Obama is inconsistent to a degree that makes him hard to take seriously with anything he says or stands behind.

Personally I have a strong desire to see Obama succeed and garner high approval across the country. The USA would be tremendously well served to see a strong black President lead the country out of a mess and resolve the errors we saw under the Bush administration. Obama has up to this point been a disappointment for a lot of the country. It's not a "right" or a "left" thing, it's an "Obama is a disappointment thing". It was the same with Bush.

We deserver better than shots taken at republicans when discussing Obama. I don't see how we can get eaten up and swallowed by being brandished with the worst qualities of each side of the political debate everytime someone brings up a point you disagree with.
