"You can't not have health insurance," the president continued, "then go to the emergency room, and each of us, who've done the responsible thing and have health insurance, suddenly we now have to pay the premiums for you. That's not fair."

I wasn't aware that he pays for health insurance.

This basically means his argument is its not fair for us working folks to pick up everyone's bill (including his) but its perfectly fair for him?

I don't pay for health insurance - it's provided free with my job as well. I guess it's not fair that for the "working folk" to pick up my bill too?

Oh wait, it's paid for as part of my job ..... as it is his.

The BoboCare law,a.k.a., The Affordable Care Act (It's not affordable, was not about care but is just an act) is all about a government take over of the health care industry.

You are exactly right, except it doesn't take over any of the healthcare industry so you are completely wrong.

Oh for fuck's sake, the corporatist Obamacare law simply sewed the lamprey's mouth to the victim. The god damn private health insurance industry will be more entrenched than ever if Obamacare survives court challenge.

I doubt that the BoboCare law will survive this current court case. Even if it does all the next President has to do is give all 50 States a mandatory wavier from complying with the provisions of the laws.

Next.

Maybe I need mental health care? Where can I get some? Oh, yes, I don't want to pay for it myself.

but but but

if you vote all D's next election, we'll give you healthcare, entitlement checks, and all the other things youve been wanting!

Hell, maybe we'll even give you a free 'admit one' to the country pass so you can invite your friend from shitfuckistan to come over and vote for the D's!

Your beliefs poison your thought processes in a self reinforcing emotionally twisted way. Until you consider the the idea that such might be true, you'll be unable to change it.

It's called denial.

It's easily encouraged and exploited by those who profess to share your beliefs- not for your benefit, but for theirs. They're one step ahead of you, and have been your whole life.

If you're so right, why are you so miserable?

Thank you for your concern, but if I vote "D" next time around it would be proof positive that I really do need mental healthcare.

I will vote "R" and hope to be left alone.

How'd that work out for you in 2000 and 2004?

I can't help but notice with all the ranting and raving that nobody actually addressed President Obama's argument about health care. If I have health care, whether because I work hard to get a good job that helps pay for it or because I pay for it myself, I'm effectively subsidizing health care provided for people with no insurance who end up in the emergency room. Which was basically his point, I think...

Do you actually think that's why people vote Democratic? Or is it just easier for you to act like you do?

I ain't no fan of Obama but he is sorta the President of the United States. He probably has a doctor (or 5) that follow him around constantly because it is sort of a bad thing when the President is incapacitated or worse.

We should not expect that the President must be uber rich in order to afford that kind of treatment which most sane people would think is necessary. We also don't, nor should we, charge them for Secret Service protection.

Yeah.... because the R's don't mess with you at all or take away your freedoms or sell you out the first chance they get....

Amazing. That's a reason why most people are against criminal immigration. Watching this guy these past years is a very creepy experience. Not so much because he lies constantly and contradicts himself at every turn but because people have adapted to this as if is normal when its functional lunacy of historic proportions. At a time of great danger to US the people voted for an affirmative action Nero in a suit hiding behind an ivy pedigree. Obama thinks people are stupid (well at least his base because he knows they are only ones who take him seriously) and he is correct in large part.

I think it was Will Durant who said great civilizations don't die they commit suicide. That's Obama right there. He's political cyanide.
