Question Is O&O Defrag worth it on an SSD or snake oil?

Thoughts? Do you think it can actually improve anything in addition to the regular TRIM that the Optimize and Defrag tool built in to Windows does or is this just snake oil?

It's junk. Oo makes some alright tools if they're who I think they are but those are free. If you need a disk defragger for large spinners I'd recommend defraggler or Auslogics's free defragger. You gain nothing from the paid version. Don't worry about your SSD.

I tried it with a PC with an SSD and multiple HDs (two internal, a dozen external). For some strange reason, the machine speeded up, and then in time slowed down.

SImilar happened with other optimizers that include defrag programs.
