Is now the time to buy ddr2?

Hey, I was just wondering if prices of the ddr2 memory will go up when amd comes out with their new socket. If so, should we start buying ddr2 sticks now so we won't eat our hearts out later if prices rise?

I'm really thinking about getting a pair of ddr2 xms now, but I just don't know if it's a smart move..
