Newegg doesn't always have the lowest prices anymore & I wish default shipping was still fedex, however their customer service is still second to none & while I have had occasional problems they have never failed to correct every one.

I still shop at newegg. The 5%+- price difference is never a deal breaker when I can get next day delivery for dirt cheap :D

After the FS/FT forums, probably. Although it's more of a starting point to compare other prices too.

For the most part, yes. With their basic shipping option I get my stuff in two days. Other than that and the FS section here, I occasionally use amazon and zipzoomfly.

Am I the only one that despises Zipzoomfly's site? It's absolute garbage. Try getting a list of all 3.5" 120GB PATA drives on one page. Not gonna happen. Unless you know the precise product you want you're better off using Newegg. Browsing Zipzoomfly to find the best deal in a range of parts is lesson in frustration. If they would simply add a "Search current subset" option that would make a huge difference.

That's still my place. I have 9 pages of orders with them and have been with them since July of 2001.

I pretty much use Newegg...only time I don't is when it's not a mission-critical piece (Think a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter) and I can get a Chinese version for 1/10th the price on Ebay

There are a few places I check and buy according to price. NewEgg is on the list, but they're by no means my only source. They get my business when they have what I want the cheapest, otherwise I buy elsewhere.

Competition between vendors is a wonderful thing. I love capitalism.

I used to get 75% of my parts from Newegg, 20% from ZipZoomFly and 5% from other places.
But then Newegg started to take really long 'processing' orders for me so I switched to mainly ZZF.

Last week I wanted to buy the Dlink DNS323 (NAS unit) and ZZF didnt have it, so I ordered from Newegg on Sunday night and it was at my house on Tuesday afternoon.

Newegg is back to getting more of my biz now

I voted yes, but the system I built from their parts has lasted me now till whenever Intel drops the e68 series down to pennies per mhz.

That and zipzoomfly if I know I am not going to return anything. But Newegg is my first choice if the price is comparable. Their Customer Service is unprecedented.

edit: OP, if you want some good wireless nics then go for buffalo brand.

No, and it hasn't been for some years. I ordered every part for my first computer from Newegg, but after that, Fry's Electronics carries the same products for cheaper, without the need to wait for sh!tty shipping services.
