Is netflix worth it?

For those of you who subscribe to netflix, is it worth monthly fee? Also, how long is the free trial when you start? Thanks.

i say it's pretty good it takes about 1 day for me to get my dvd's

 

If you rent about 10 DVDs a month it's worth it. They have a good selection and they come in one day (for me at least).

I thought they had some plan that was cheaper...like $15 for 2 movies out instead of $20 for 3 movies out at a time

I have seriously considered it before. Especially now that I have such a lean, mean divxing machine... 😀 I live about 20 minutes from Tacoma, too so the wait would be a day. 😀 Only thing that bothers me is the queues, how long would I have to wait for some of the titles to become available?

I did it for several months. Extremely convenient, particularly for more out of the way places with smaller selections as well as those people close to a distribution center (i.e. Tacoma in Washington).

My experience with the queues: Never had to wait more than a day or two. And since you've got your other choices, it shouldn't ever be too long before you get it.

I'd say renting 6 or so a month would justify the cost, given that you wouldn't need to spend gas money driving to the rental place 😉

Free trial is 10 days, they do not sell e-mail addresses. I just took the bait, this is going to be fun. 🙂

I did the trial, but cancelled it, I liked the service. and will probably subscribe in the winter time. After your trial cancel it, and they'll offer you a better plan😀
