Okay, Glen, when in the world did Natalie become a supermodel? I would have to puke if that happened. Or maybe Glen can't tell supermodel from actresses' faces used on the cover of magazines. ;) She's an actress, so I don't expect much from her in looks, in spite of efforts by the media to elevate the status of the actresses into model status. (I was just responding to question from a member here.) However, if she's a model, then of course I would be critical, since that's what modelling is about (i.e., the body).

Cluelis . . . I'm sorry, but I find that statement ridiculous. Body speaks louder than face. Her body can't be painted to look bigger than it is, except if they put some kind of material on her. If her body tells me she isn't too skinny or anorexic, then maybe she isn't. I know very skinny people who have fat on the face. The same is true for someone who's just normal but has a very thin face. It says nothing about being anorexic. Besides, people don't stay the same for ever. Maybe she gained weight since your friend saw her.

I was not outright accusing her of being anorexic, but I often find (and this has been confirmed by my mother who is a doctor that specializes in adolescents with eating disorders) is that at a young age like that sinking cheeks is one of the first signs that someone is a little thinner than she should be.

Now, I fully agree with your statement that body shape and facial appearence don't always correlate, and I haven't studied her body enough to know which is true, but it often is the case.

BTW, my friend told me this only a year and a half ago, and while it is possible she has since gained weight, most of her carreer so far has been before then.

I really hate when actors end up at elite schools.

It's like instant admission for them b/c as celebrities they're considered the aristocracy of our hair-brained society. That admission slot could have gone to a hard-working nerd......instead that admission slot goes to some young actors who's planets of fortune aligned to get a lucky project that was successful.

For the school, it's free marketing to have a celebrity attend.

There is usually no justifiable merit IMHO to the celebrity's mental powers. It's not like they got a 1550 SAT/4.0 gpa or even 1150 SAT for that matter (which would spell admissions doom for all but celebrities to these schools).

Once in, it's like any college or community. You'll graduate. They'll see to that you will never, ever fail out. It's just the name of the game. Another bragging right as they don't want any to fail out as that casts a negative image for the school.

She is most certainly a supermodel.
You might think she is ugly, and no one can really argue with you since that is subjective, but Nat is as close to a super model as anyone. For the last few years you would be hard pressed to find any woman's magazine for ANY month that did not have multiple pictures of her in the advertisements.

Of course, it couldn't possibly be because some actors are smart right? Besides that, plenty of people besides celebrities get into top flight schools without the academic points. Atheletes anyone?

I have dated some of these women. I know exactly what they look like before and after the air brushing. I dated a girl who was on every page of the Speigle catalog, half the CK adds, Guess, etc.... They had her with red hair and perfect teeth. In real life she had a shaved head and braces.

Oh, absolutely! The airbrushing is extreme.

When you see them in real life, it's just "bleh".

There are only extremely few people (besides babies) at 20 that have that exceptional skin/teeth.

I think she is a decent girl,
pretty attractive from my point of view, afterall... if she isn't eye catching...
she won't be on the big screen!

Oh yeah, I think girls have a different way of looking at beauty, they seem alot more detailed then guys are.... so I guess thats why your gf disagrees with you. There is probably that one feature she tries to find in NP and sees none of that . LOL

Or because she got a high SAT score.

Pah, graduating from a good school and getting high SAT scores makes you thick, obviously :p
