I have ATI x850 Pro AGP card. I have been having stability issues with my GPU for awhile. Usually ends up crashing and beep/MSI bracket code indicates GPU fault.
I decided to finally runs some Video Cards tests (ATItool, FurMark, rthdribl). I ran the ATItool first for 45 mintues. The video card heated up to 91C at one time. Usually was hitting 90C or 89C. (My CPU was around 59C). It didn't crash during the ATItool test. But after that (when GPU cooled down 80C or so), I tried to setup the Fur Test. The system crashed just when I was picking setting for Fur stability test, I didn't even start the test.
My main question is 90C too hot for the GPU? Do guys think heat is main cause of my System Instability? Or you think something else is wrong?
