I was squating something like 75 pounds back in may of 2008, benching 60, and deadlifting 85. Now my 1 rep max for those lifts are 250 squat, 175 bench, and 300 deadlift. Just had a powerlifting meet yesterday, and I tell u the deadlift wasnt too difficult.

It seems to me that this is just going to turn into a bragging thread, but so be it. It tooks me 10 weeks last winter to go from 140 -> 160. I had never lifted before and by the end my 1RMs were 300 squat, 340 deadlift, 210 bench, and 140 overhead press. Got injured, but can theoretically beat all those now (1RM calculator). Recently deadlifted 355 after being back since December.
 
Beginner gains are always extremely rapid. This is especially so if your training included all the powerlifting elements (esp the squat & deadlift) as those will accelerate strength & mass gains even further. Having said that, it seems like you made some *very* solid progress for 1 year of work. Adding 115lbs to your bench, 175lbs to your squat and 215lbs to your deadlift is nothing to scoff at, and your 1RM numbers are certainly further along than mine were after the first year (although I stupidly didn't start squatting/deadlifting until a few years in). Unfortunately, it's not likely you'll be able to keep this rate up, but depending on your age, height/weight, and genetics, you may be putting up some beastly numbers in a few years. It's a shame we can't all be like Andy Bolton, who squatted 500lbs and deadlifted 600lbs the first time he ever lifted 🙂

We had a football player bench 330 his first time int the weight room in hs. I had been lifting for about six months at that point and benched like 175, body weight 135. Oh, how I hated him.

Yea, these genetic freaks show up from time to time. A guy I knew a while ago benched ~265 the first time he ever weight lifted, and up to that point, he'd spent most of his life watching TV and eating large quantities of ice cream. Natural selection at work, I guess 🙂

well, i didnt mean to brag, I dont want to brag. I just want to know whether is a fast gain or not. the weights i am doing are pussy weights compare to what my team members are doing. people around me keep telling me i am improving fast just wanna know if they're just saying that or is it actually true.
 
You are improving fast, but you're a beginner. That's what is nice about starting out, rapid improvement!
