Is my situation normal considering that I'm from an upper-middle class family?

Pay your folks rent, they'll be your roommates, at least you can trust them.

So OP thinks that they are entitled to a "high paying job" with a useless college degree/probably no experience right after graduating? o_O:confused:

LIke mentioned above. Don't leech off your parents. Save it for if you REALLY need it. Get you a job, do it well and work your way up. If necessary to live, get roommates to help with costs. You already have a BA that early in your life, you have nowhere to go but up and are sitting better than many of your peers. Be willing to take less pay now for experience that will get you big bucks later....and you are young, you may find you HATE your career path and change it :p

Living with your parents is going to stunt your growth as an adult. It will be good to struggle a little bit. You can work your way up to that high paying job. Hard work is your friend.

What if it were just for a year. Would that be normal? I think some people are under the impression that I plan to depend on my parents for several more years, when in reality, all I need is one.

How do you know all you'll need is one?

Hoping for the positive effects of a Trump presidency?

Upper middle class? 22?

Ask your parents if they can pay for a degree that gets you somewhere. they'd probably prefer that to you living at home, and you're still young enough

Why does this question keep popping up here?

because the same guy keeps posting it from various accounts: Every several months, he's always "a few months from graduating!" Ain't this member a temporal anomaly!
