I don't think it's really fair to lump pot heads, gangs and disrespect for elders in the same category do you?

Most of you know how easy it is to get pot up here, it's probably easier than Cigarettes.
The other side of my street is designated a "non-school area", so that's where the dealer(s) hang out. They run a tidy profit, too. I know kids that show up to class stoned, drunk, whacked off of E or Shrooms or Speed...
Mind you, I go to the local drinking establishment during my lunch period

I really read way more into those words than I wanted to.
And I went to a "good" public HS - some stoners etc., and a couple assholes (regardless of substances), but no one getting out of hand. Went downhill quick a couple years after I left - they closed the campus and brought in the rentacops. Kind of funny (not haha), but I would say my class (and maybe the one behind it) just squeaked by on the last traces of social graces in this life. Of course that what everyone says, but it felt like that to me *at the time* not just in reminiscing.
My school seems pretty clean- during school hours. There are tons of stoners, but they don't show up stoned.
same here in ND, hell i used to go to most of my classes there high, makes everything a bit easier to take in
Kids pop pills, come in drunk etc here. We just had a bomb threat today, evacuated the school. The kicker is that its a Private school.

Also on Fridays we'd all ditch our last 2 classes and have a barbecue with a keg at one of my friends' houses

I'm sure you've all heard something of the drugs that are in Seattle? Yeah, well I live in Arlington. Hick town is right next door (Darrington). We're jock town. Farmlands all over the place.
First anecdote: There's a large plot of land on one of the main backroads (known to all the locals as the "Israel Farm") where there's a yearly hugeass party that people come from all around for. The party is held far enough off the main road that cops can't legally do anything about it. And it's like that for a reason You drive by that party on the main road and you're gonna get contact high Yeah, you can smell it a few miles away
Second anecdote: When I was a sophomore in HS (since graduated), there was this big stoner kid in my art class, and everyone knew he was a big supplier. Well one day he was walking around baked off his ass (he was in art class and was able to get away with it), when a large plastic baggie (think Ziploc freezer bag, about half full) of Mary Jane fell out of his coat. Within the next 10 minutes, the class of 40 had fallen down to a class of 10, with the other 30 all conveniently taking a "bathroom break" and coming back at the same time, but much less coherent and much funnier to watch.
Summary: The stuff you buy in Seattle is GROWN here. So yeah, it's everywhere.
