"That stuff smells like semen"?

I've never heard anybody say anything that stupid, and I know a lot of gay dudes.

You cared enough to post a thread listing very stereotypical things as 'evidence' (your words) on a message board known for its complete lack of empathy towards homosexuality or minorities of any kind for that matter. If he's a cool guy you wouldn't be posting 'evidence' trying to paint him into a corner. Who fucking cares what he does outside of work? This is the thread equivalent of a sewing circle gossiping about the new girl. If you want to know so badly just ask him instead of opening up a platform for people to make jokes at the expense of someone else's life.

Are you clueless? One of the ways gay people find each other in a sea of heterosexuals is by BROADCASTING their gayness, deliberately conforming to gay stereotypes. Gay or not, everyone knows this.

You are the clueless one. Applying broad strokes to an entire group of people rarely works out. Some guys adapt that strategy but the vast majority of gay people do not want to be public about it at all. Read the replies in this thread for more insight into why.

WTF? No one said "entire group." I said it was ONE of they ways some might find each other. Why else, genius?

In other news, I'm not sure how "sea" became "see," but I fixed that before you jumped all over me with "clueless" accusations about that too.

I don't care about spelling and grammar thanks, but I do care about being labelled as clueless in regards to what it means to be gay by straight people. Your example applies to a lot less people than you think it does.

Either way I don't care to continue discussing how myself, a gay man, is clueless about being gay by a straight guy with very little intimate knowledge on the subject. You should probably calm the fuck down when you reply to people.

Oh please. You are the one who jumped all over him for "stereotyping" a group based on specific stereotypes that were spread by a segment of that group that wanted them to be picked up on/identified and created them for that very purpose (no matter how small a percentage).

So not all gay people do that. So what? Some do. No one thought for a second that "all" do as you suggest. You are the one being overly sensitive.

Wait!
Since when are Middle School classmates considered "Coworkers"?

OP, I thought you were Home-Schooled?
Mama get tired of you surfing ATOT instead of studying?

Very well put!

Dude brings in delicious baked goods and you're posting threads on the internet trying to determine his sexuality? Your priorities are all off. Sounds like a good guy to have in the office.

Indeed! The OP has obvious issues, bred from ignorance and fear. Ignorance and fear of others is so ghey! 😉

Jeebus H, did you read this in the latest issue of Paranoid Homophobe magazine, or what? D:

Eh? It's true. You wouldn't think it strange if that were said about, say, sports fans. Note that he said one of the ways, not every single gay guy does this 24/7. I lived with gay roommates for a year, and...it's true. Maybe you're responding to something that wasn't actually said.

...I don't think you know many gay people.

Well, it's possible you do, you just wouldn't recognize them because most don't present themselves the way you claim that they do.

You know the answer. The lord asks that you help him pray away the gay. You know what you must do.

Exactly, I have some gay friends who act like just "one of the guys"... Although, there are plenty of gay guys who act "gay".

Probably something you'll only be able to determine if he comes out of the closet or starts flirting with guys too much. There used to be a gay guy at my work. He was pretty nasty, ended up getting fired for it. (sexual harassment, more or less). That was way before I worked there though, only heard about it. I know a guy who's gay and while he is a rather interesting character, you'd never really know he's gay. He's not the type that is "in your face" about it. I've hanged out with him plenty of times and have no issues.

Personally while I know it's wrong according to my faith, it does not really bother me if people make that choice, just don't be all over my face about it. Sounds like this guy is just trying to be nice, would not really worry about it.
