The board is about 5 months old. I had it overclocked with a 3000 venice for about 4 months going from 1.8 to about 2.3. Now it works ONLY on stock.

I started getting some IRQL errors so I thought it was the mem. Toned down the overclock to about 2.2, still had erros so I did some memtests. Both sticks ran stable at 235. So I don't think its the memory.

Just incase I tried to isolate the problem. I underclocked the RAM to 100mhz. Lowered the CPU multi to x6 as well. The highest I can raise my HTT is 205 before it crashes when loading windows xp. Another forumer suggested I might have data corruption. I formatted and reloaded XP, still getting the same errors. Is my board just dying? It's frusterating being able to run only stock especially since the board is not even 6 months old yet!

Anything else I can do to test this before I declare it dead and try to get EPOX to cover it?

Thanks!

If it works at stock settings, what's your basis for an RMA claim?

How do you know the inability to OC isn't due to the CPU? What vcore were you using in the OC?

I wasn't sure if I was able to RMA or not. I was using Vcore of 1.5. I tried raising it to 1.6 but it didn't help. I assumed that because I lowered the multiplier of the CPU to 6, that it would take the CPU out of the question. Unfortunately I do not have another chip or mboard to test this out on. Is there anything else I can do to test this?
