Hey guys, I don't remember if I've posted about this a long time ago in the past but it's been bugging me more lately so I figured I'd reach out. I've got a Dell 2407WFP monitor (had for about 2 years.) Sometimes when it's on, I'll see some weird green flickering lines that show up near the middle of the screen (vertically speaking.) If I turn it off for 5 seconds then turn it back on, the lines go away. Is my monitor dying? Do I have a bad DVI cable maybe? I had this problem on my old 3800+ X2 w/ 7800GT card. When I rebuilt a few months ago to an X3350 w/ 8800 GTS 512, the monitor was about the only thing (aside from the hard drives) that I kept. The problem occurred in the old machine and on this one, so I guess that rules out the video card. Any help would be appreciated!
P.S. I bought this monitor new off ebay so I don't have a receipt but it says June 2006 on the back. Do you guys know if Dell would honor a warranty on it (since these things should be covered for 3 years)?
