Is my house haunted?

My husband, my roommate and I have all heard what sounded like footsteps when were alone in the house.
Last night around 1:30 am my roommate thought we were awake and moving around, he said he heard footsteps and whispers. He thought it was us, but we were sound asleep in our bedroom.

I know others have experienced this at some point. Are we crazy and just hearing things?

Not sure how you expect us internet folk to diagnose the hauntedness of your home.

A .wav recording of said noises would be nice.

It's not haunted, but it's possessed. By morons.

No such thing as ghosts. You live in a creepy, creaky (old, perhaps?) house.

Hauntings are like scams. If you have to ask, then the answer is yes.

Your house is haunted. Prepare for all kinds of horrifying stuff, up to and including identity theft. Ever try to reclaim your identity from a ghost? Nearly impossible.

The "footsteps" are only heard upstairs if that makes a difference. Three people have heard them on separate occasions. I chalk some of it to being a big, creaky, oldish house.

So you're the cougar eh? So I'm guess your roommate's a guy and you love getting finger cuff all the time?

That is actually a mountain lion I believe.

mmmmm cougar's are better

My TV (Fry's house brand, "Emprex" 32" LCD) has some shitty power regulating-circuitry stuff, it sounds like really loud Rice Krispies, whether it's on or off.

This isn't a serious thread right? I mean you do know that AT generally believes ghost are a crock.
