Is my harddrive screwed? (benchmark pics)

I have an old P3-600 laptop with a 12gb hard drive.
It is getting slow to even browse the web.

It seems to be accessing the hard drive for a long time when the computer lags.

Here are the benchmark pics of the drive.

Errors

The seek time looks very low (~13mb/sec MAX).
There is only one error, so that looks ok.

Are these seek times typical of old notebook hard drives?

Make sure the drive has not dropped into PIO mode - find the IDE controller in Device Manager & check for status, should be in DMA mode.

If that's not the case, are you sure it's not just clogged up with spyware/viruses?

A clean install of Windows can work wonders on old machines.

EDIT: And since you found an error, make sure you run chkdsk /r on the drive to find & correct any errors.
