Is my foot broken?

Was drunk two nights ago and fell on the stairs, slammed the ball of my foot into the lip of a stair...

Now the front bottom of my foot next to the base of the big toe really hurts when i put weight on it. Movement of my toes or foot in general doesn't hurt it, just pressure does -- a sharp pain like pressing a bruise.

No swelling from what I can tell... but I know broken foot bones are common and this pain really sucks.

No one on anandtech can x-ray you over the Internet. Go see a doctor if you think you might have broken it.

When I was racking weights, I dropped a 45lb plate on it's edge from a distance of around 4 feet right on the top of my right foot. The pain was intense for the first minute then subsided after that so I ignored it.

Movement of my foot didn't hurt much and not much swelling if at all. It did hurt when I put pressure on the spot where the plate hit.

I ignored it for a month, but my shins hurt so bad when squatting that I went in for the shin pain. Turns out, I had broken my foot afterall. The broken foot was causing my shin pain.

There's not a lot they can do for you for a broken foot. I opted not to get brace or cast, I just stopped working out for couple weeks.

I was at a club last year when a bunch of idiots standing on a couch near the dance floor caused the coach to flip and the back of it landing on my big toe.

Anyway hurt quite a bit at first and i could not run or jump well for about a wee playing basketball. Its still not 100% and I don't doubt I probably have a hairline fracture or something but it only feels odd if I tip toe in one particular way

I'd recommend you see a doctor if it really bothers you. If you gut it out it'll probably eventually heal. You might just have a bone bruise which also takes a while to heal ( I've gotten them in my knees a bunch of times and the low circulation doesn't help)
