Is my e - cig broken?

So I've recently stopped smoking cigarettes and bought an ecig and a few oils. I took my ecig apart to clean it and when I put it back together, no vape, and no noise to indicate vaping. The battery is fine because I put my gf's cartridge on it and it works perfectly. I put my atomizer back together correctly and nothing... The lifespan of the atomizer is supposedly 3-4 weeks, and I've only had mine for 4 days. Should I be looking at buying a new tank or just the atomizer piece?

Your atomizer coil is probably just shot, buy a couple so you have some spares. I would also recommend a variable voltage battery with at least a 1300mah rating and buy 2 of those as well so while your vaping with one the other can re-charge. Those tiny slim starter kit batteries just don't last long enough or have enough power to work very well.

Atomizer might be shot...or it might just not be installed correctly. Take it apart again and try to re-seat the atomizer.

What hardware do you have? Many of the "looks like a cigarette" types don't have replaceable atomizers...you replace the entire cartridge.

Yea, correct and as you go along everyone figures out that "looks like a cigarette" is the wrong path to take unless you like the idea of swapping out batteries 3-4 times a day.

When I was first looking to start with the e-cigs, those are what I expected to get. The first shop I visited talked me out of them...and I'm glad he did.

The disposable/returnable NJoy Kings work pretty well. I was surprised, actually.

Either your atomizer isn't getting power because it's not making contract, or it is, and the coil is shot. Get a new coil, in fact get 5. 😛

I'm thinking the atomizer is shot because I took it apart several times and made sure there was contact, so I bought 2 new replacement atomizers today. The only thing that makes me mad is that I've only had the atomizer for 4 days before it went bad 🙁 also I'm using an eGo battery with a glass canister w/ atomizer. I've been using the disposable tanks to get by without any trouble though. I like my vape but if the atomizer don't last long enough I may just use the disposable tanks instead.

Maybe you just need a better clearomizer...

I've been using these for a few months now. (but have replaced the metal drip tip with a plastic one because I don't like the metal.)

Replacement atomizers are about $3 at the local vape shop.
