My Case

Hopefully I should be getting a graphics card sometime before the next generation comes out... So what do you guys think of my cabling so far? The 24-pin is just too short to route behind the case though...

Do you think I can fit a 8800GT with Accelero on there?

Any other tips to make my case neater would be nice.

Looks good! Looks like your gonna have great airflow with few obstructed areas provided you got a good fan setup. You have a windowed side ya going to put on? You could use a few zipties and tidy things up and even use some black loom to cover up all the different color PSU wires if you were anal like me :p

Case airflow > looks anyday :)

You can't route the CPU 12V 4-pin cord behind the motherboard tray? Looks like it's pretty loose. At least make it run along the rear of the case from the other side of the CPU HSF.

You have to connect the front fan to the most distant header on the board? How about switching headers with the rear fan?

What are all of those cords under your HD??? You need a modular PSU :p

What did you do with most of the screws :p I see that you screwed your DVD. I just thought the screw line looks good :p

Too bad you can't route the 24-pin behind the tray, it looks ugly :(

put a few zip ties in and see if you can route any cables behind the mobo.....A modular PSU is a much better choice...

Try putting the 24pin wire below all the other wires and try to clip it on the lower right and side of the mobo.

Route the power cable like i did behind the mobo. It will all fit.

Ignore the watercooling part:

Its the same case, i spray painted mine thats why it looks a little different.

Also put the drive cages back in and feed your lines inside so it hides it. That way it will also look a lot cleaner. Hide whatever cables you dont need behind the mobo. Use zipties and ziptie mounts to suspend.

And yeah.. ignore the watercooling part. I got bored and tried to pimp out a budget build.

That is a nice paint job!
Did you disconnect the wires for the top mounted USB, etc?
No optical drives?

Note: I recomend EVERYONE to get at least a decient UPS system. Around a 400-500W load range. UPS's help stability a TON expecially in older houses with brown surges. I have one on all my quads and expensive electrical eq. You can see it in the left side.

But i really didnt want to post these pic because i knew it was going to steal your thread. But its the same case as yours and i just finished a good wire management on it, so a picture is better then 10000000000000 words.

Ok, I can't really do anything now... System is up and running. Also, I put in an 8800GT with accelero, and the one way I could fit the 4-pin up to the socket was to put it between the card and the mobo... Don't ask. As for running the 24-pin and 4-pin behind the mobo, I tried... Just a bit too short, unless I wanted to slice up my hand and my motherboard trying... Thank you guys!

Definitely modular cabling next time...

Oh, and Scoop, that's the audio cable.

I put the fan back into the closer socket.
