Is my car hot, or is it suck?

those windows are screaming for some tint.. I HATE having untinted windows. :|

and the wheels look out of place

but drive what you want.. 4 door plain sedans aren't for me, I prefer this, thats why I'm buying one in a few months. 🙂

<< Still look like rice? >>

Never did. But I hope the next thing you invest in is some lower springs and struts/shocks to match 🙂

Valhalla,

Vets are nice. Probably best bang for the buck performance wise out there. They are also loud, suck gas like Monica Lewinsky sucks d1ck and you have a hard time fitting more than you, your dog and a bag of chips in the thing.

My previous car was an Integra GS-R... while not a vette it had that same size limitation thing which gets to be a prob when you want to go downtown with a couple of friends.

Plus I don't believe Vets have that AWD option.

As to tint on windows... that's a preference thing, I might put some nice tint on it later, but I don't like how it fvcks with the radar detector that I have.

Seriously though, the Vette is a nice car, I'm sure you'll have fun and I doubt anyone whose not in an S4 Audi will want to race you.

I think those rims look nice. I love Audi's. If you lowered it some (NOT TO THE FLOOR) it would look better. Get some more power out of that engine (upgrade exhuast/headers) and maybe some other stuff if you want. That's just my opion though.

Agreed on the loud thing.. although they are not loud stock, but I'll be putting the loudest performance mufflers and x-pipe I can buy on it! I want people to see me and hear me coming a mile away..

also you are right on the issue of space, but its a 2-seater, not designed as a family sedan. it does have (by WAY FAR) the biggest storage capacity of any car in its class, its got tons of room for hauling stuff, just not people. 🙂 but it hardly sucks gas, I don't know where you got that from. it gets like 30 miles to the gallon

"...screw what everyone else thinks!"

As if he doesn't actually care? 😕

"Is my car hot, or is it suck?"

Do you think he really wants my opinion? 😛

15% or 20% tint all around would look great. Make sure you get a metallic (read: llumar) tint film. you see all those mexi-tints that turn purple after a few years, dyed-tint 🙁

I like it. I don't think the rims look too out of place, but I do prefer the stock wheels. I think the reason it looks so high to some people is that it's on a slanted driveway.

gunf1ghter, second pics look A LOT better 🙂

BTW, what camera did you snap the pictures with?

What no coffee can exhaust 😀?

I love the Audi A4 but I would have to agree with most of the other posters. The wheels just do not work on that car. Some how they make it look like it's jacked up.

My next car will probable be the new Audi A4 that they're coming out with this year.

gunf1ghter, how much did it cost you to install the APR phase one mods? Did you do it yourself, or did you have the dealer do it?

Love your A4 gunf1ghter! (then again, I'm part of the club).
vi_edit, the APR chip is around $500...fortunately, I was part of a group buy and received a $100 discount. What you do is remove the ECU (rather simple job) and send it to APR to have the upgrade done. I was without my car for three days but the difference in performance is worth it IMO!
gunf1ghter, how do like your short shift kit? I'm thinking of putting that in as my next mod (as much as I love my A4, it does have a bit of a long shift)

Not to outstage gunf1ghters ride or anything, but here's my ride if anyone cares

vi_edit

picks snapped with a Nikon Coolpix 800 .... tight little digicam, you can pick one up on Fleabay for under $400.

APR stage I consists of removing your ECU and FedExing it to APR... you get the chip back two days later via FedEx. I got in on a group buy and paid $400 for the chip upgrade... definitely worth it. Have a buddy with a 2001 that has 170 bhp and he could definitely tell the difference when he drove my car with the chip!.

Thanks everyone for the warm comments.

Valhalla, I don't think you will EVER see 30 mpg out of a Vette bro, but it's still a nice ride!

Emos,

thanks for the comments my Audi brothah!

we ought to run yet another poll later and see which rims people prefer, the stock rims or the aftermarket ones!

but it hardly sucks gas, I don't know where you got that from. it gets like 30 miles to the gallon

i own a 96 corvette coupe and ill tell you it eats gas like nothing even worse than my cadillac sts and that eats gas bigtime.

ijust travvelled to the toronto auto show (130km where i live) and it cost me 20 bucks gas to get there and back (some driving around in city) and this is with my cadiallac

the corvettei find use smore gas then this car and this car burns gas quick (northstar engine)

but i like your choice of car
you will not be disapointed with a corvette
keep the tradition and dont modify it...other vette owners will respect you more
keep it original
peace

Emos,

The UUC short shifter kit is a MUST! It improves the shifting tremendously... reduces throw about 20% and makes it much notchier. It's a bitch to install though, get a buddy who has done some car work and make sure you have all the right tools before you do ANYTHING!

Thanks gunsl1nger (sorry, Dark Tower reference 🙂) I'll try doing a bit more research on the Audi forum and try to find some mechanically inclined people to help me out!
