why would anyone say "your welcome"? my welcome what? That doesn't even make any logical sense, mama. And "my bad" as a simple "sorry" doesn't work either. It's "sorry, that was my fault."

It doesn't sound new to me.

I just say "sorry" though.

This statement gave you away as a non-american. No one says that is the US.
anybody who knows a bit of grammar never says that anywhere.
