Seems that a lot of people use "My bad" rather than sorry. I actually use My bad rather than sorry for some reason too.

It's not nearly as bad as "no problem"

what a horrible, self-centered cop-out that is. the complete opposite of "your welcome," and yet everyone now says it.

I say this out of habit and always cringe at myself for it. :'( It's difficult to stop. "Your welcome" just seems too formal, "Sure" would be ok if my monotone voice didn't make it sound irritated, and my "Mmm-hmms" are barely audible.

No problem, as in - Don't worry, you didn't cause me any problems.

That rages you? You should get your blood pressure checked. ;p

It kind of implies that the person thanking you felt like he caused some kind of noteworthy burden on you, though.

I usually use "my bad" when I screw up something, but I'm not really sorry about it. Shit happens, I'm not gonna apologize for making a mistake. Unless that mistake is actually worth apologizing for.

That's me. When I play basketball and I fuck up a shot I don't play defense, stand there, and just say "My Bad...".

why would anyone say "your welcome"? my welcome what? That doesn't even make any logical sense, mama. And "my bad" as a simple "sorry" doesn't work either. It's "sorry, that was my fault."

I'd apologize, but it was zinfamous' bad for making a post I had to quote and reply to. I am easily influenced by my peers.
