heh, at my old job, they had a pretty nice hp scanner/copier/fax thingy..i copied a $1, figured out how to put the same paper in so when i copied the back, it would print on it correctly, however it was flipped..the color of the bill was slightly darker but it looked pretty darn good, went to a hs football game, used it at the snack bar thing, payin in all $1's makes it easy

*do not try this at home*

<< My mom even got this bill straight from the bank... anyone have any idea what may be up? Should I quickly spend this bill? >>

About a year or so back, the SF Chronical reported about an elderly lady who went to pull money from her account and received the wrong amount or something. So she immediatley brought it back within seconds of leaving and was told that one of the bills was counterfeit. They also said, she should have verified the money before she left the counter. Now she was out the 100 she was shorted and the 100 that was counterfeit.

Now that royally sucked!

here is how to tell. Look closely at the paper of the bill if you see actual red and blue stips throughout the paper then it is genuine. Some counterfeiters often try to draw on these colored strips. It is genuine if you have these strips all throughout the bill.
