I bought most of my parts for my first build from mwave. A website revamp is in order IMHO.

I like Tiger Direct better than NewEgg
I've enevr had a problem with anything I bought from them
Unlike NewEgg, especially a ProLink TV Tuner... What a nightmare
I had no problems with the RMA

Haven't tried MWave...
I'm gonna look there now...

wtf...I thought you people said mwave was going bankrupt?!

No, that was Monarch .... starts with an 'M', but thats where it ends. I buy all my antivirus from Mwave .. $25 for three copies of Panda AV2006 for $25 shipped is a good deal.

I once bought from mwave a long time ago, so I don't have much recent experience. The only problem with mwave is that they don't have as many deals advertised on the major bargain sites (Bens, Slickdeals, Fatwallet, Pricegrabber) compared to newegg. They kind of had dropped off those sites, and I am now seeing a resurgence.

If you search for most C2D cpus, you can see mwave coming up as the best total cost shipped in most cases.

It's good that newegg has some competition, it'll keep them honest.

ZZF is doing pretty good. Ordered an 8600 GT for $145 Thursday morning, arrived Friday afternoon w/ standard shipping.

exactly. they make it so easy to find what you need or if you don't know exactly what you need, you filter to your heart's content.

i hate trying to find stuff on other sites like ZZF where all you can filter by is like hard drive, CPU, memory and maybe the brand name.

on NewEgg i can filter by just about anything you can think of.

That's what I was thinking when I saw this post. Mwave is a great, reputable online dealer from way back.

my overall purchase experience with newegg has always been great to good, as far as mwave is concerned, they're not too bad as well.

If mwave had multiple warehouses like newegg, I'd order from them more often. Orders fom mwave take forever to be delivered to me and choosing faster shipping makes the price too high.
