Is MotoX Pure still the best option for most people?

Update if anyone cares: I decided to see if I could improve the situation. I factory reset the phone after backing up the data, then fully updated it and put my account and apps back on. And since then all the odd behavior stopped. Still a kinda fat phone but it works pretty well now. Less laggy, doesn't freeze anymore, still gets warm and is heavy, but its better. I revise my rating from "crap" to "OK phone". Looks like it was a software issue.
